The height restriction of a fence, street side is 4 ft. Height restriction for Residential is 6.5 ft. See Ordinance 383 for more information.Also, stop by City Hall to have your to see how big your lot is. Unfortunately, Beach does not have a licensed surveyor on staff. The City is not liable for a dispute about lot lines.
The Zoning Administrator asks that you either stop at City Hall for a Building Permit Application or print an application from this site (see Applications on Home page). There is no fee for a fence.

All companies selling products or services door-to-door are classified as a "Transient Merchant" (ex. selling vacuum cleaners, security systems, tree services, & etc.), and all transient merchants must register with the City. If you are not sure who is a transient merchant please call City Hall for more information 872-4103.
