Golden Valley County is in the process of implementing a Reverse Alert system. In the event of emergency situations such as severe weather, hazardous material events, fires, etc., a phone call with important information, such as evacuation instructions can be made to your home phone. A database of landlines from the 9-1-1 system has already been generated.

However, the primary and or peferred mode of communication for many people is cellular phones.  If you would like to have your cellular phone number added to the reverse alert database, please follow the link below for online registration. You can also stop by the basement of the Golden Valley County Courthouse to register or call Brenda at 872-4733, Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm.

Cell phone numbers collected will be stored in the secure reverse alert database and will NOT be released for any other purpose.
